About
Michael Lanctot is a Utah entrepreneur, sales leader and author. He studied chemical and nuclear engineering and came up through door-to-door pest control sales at Moxie, Edge and Hawx. At Hawx he served as VP of Recruiting, and his sales organization grew past 500 reps.
In January 2022 he founded Young N Retired (YNR), a direct-sales community that recruits, trains and develops reps in pest control, fiber and insurance. YNR is now becoming Community Marketing. Its pest control business did $65 million in 2026. In October 2026 Michael handed leadership of the community to a 12-member board and stayed on as a partner.
He went bankrupt in his early twenties and rebuilt from there. He writes about that comeback in his books. In 2026 he founded Fleet Dynamics, OptGo and Pitchlet. He also invests in real estate, Airbnb properties and Turo rentals.
